The AOK130 open-frame automated welding machine is specifically designed for thick-walled industrial piping, capable of performing automated, all-position butt welding—with filler wire addition—on straight pipes ranging from φ32 mm to φ127 mm. As an all-position TIG welding machine, it features automatic arc length tracking and demonstrates strong adaptability to pipe misalignment. The primary materials suitable for welding include stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium alloys, and similar materials.
1. The AOK130 welding machine features a comprehensive suite of functions, including controls for argon gas, water cooling, welding current, rotation, wire feeding, arc voltage tracking, and torch oscillation.
2. The welding head is primarily constructed from aluminum, resulting in a lightweight structure; its caliper-style clamping mechanism allows for flexible adjustment to accommodate pipes of varying diameters.
3. Utilizing a zero-backlash gear transmission design, the unit boasts a compact structure and ensures smooth, stable rotation; when paired with the integrated wire feeder, it delivers high-quality welding results.
4. The torch head incorporates a circulating water-cooling system, enabling it to sustain continuous operation over extended periods.
5. The oscillation amplitude is adjustable, making it suitable for V-groove joint configurations and ensuring stable weld formation on materials with wall thicknesses ranging from 3 to 9 mm.

1. Startup inspection: Ensure water, electricity, and argon connections are in place, grind and degrease pipe ends, align and secure the pipes, connect the grounding wire, and insert the internal argon stopper.
2. Mount the welding head: Open the C-shaped clamp to encircle the pipe, lock the clamp blocks, and position the welding head at the center of the weld seam.
3. Adjust the tungsten electrode: Center the tungsten 0.8–1.2 mm from the groove, and adjust the wire feeder to maintain the correct wire spacing.
4. Pre-argon filling: Set internal gas flow at 6–9 L/min, external gas at 13–18 L/min, and pre-purge for 40–70 seconds to remove air.
5. Parameter setting: Select AOK130 machine on the power supply, input pipe diameter and wall thickness, enable weaving or wire feeding if required, and run one idle rotation for testing.
6. Automatic welding: Start via remote control; the welding head rotates around the joint for welding, making minor adjustments to center the torch during the process.
7. Completion and disassembly: After gas hold delay ends, turn off gas, water, and electricity; open clamps to remove the welding head and dismantle the workpiece.
